£1300.00 for Help For Heroes

AlanTudor, presents a cheque for £1300.00 to Dawn-Marie Turner, Regional  Coordinator for Help For Heroes in the presence of Andrew Mitchell MP.

Alan  raised over £1000.00 for the Chairman's Charity, Help For Heroes. Alan, an ex servicemen himself, raised the sum from Club Members sponsoring him in the Great Midlands Run in June 2010.The Club’s Christmas Draw raised the remainder.

Dawn-Marie assured Alan that every penny raised will go to help injured servicemen, she added, that in the last 3 years, the charity had raised some £86m.  Andrew Mitchell said he was proud to be associated with a Club that could selflessly raise such a sum for a charity he wholeheartedly supports.

  Club helps Alan Tudor raise over £1000 for Help For Heroes

Club member AlanTudor has so far raised over £1000.00 for the Chairman's Charity, Help For Heroes. Alan, an ex servicemen himself, raised the sum from Club Members sponsoring him in the Great Midlands Run in June 2010.The Club will be holding a presentation evening in the near future and hope to raise even more for Alan's chosen charity.
